Our Barisa & Coffee Appreciation short course is professional, nationally recognised and designed to equip hospitality professionals and enthusiasts with the skills to extract and serve espresso coffee using an espresso machine, including storage of coffee, cleaning, and care / preventative maintenance of machinery.
Professionals employed or seeking to be employed by the hospitality industry may also choose to undertake a further 2 hours of training where they will learn to plan and monitor espresso coffee service, including ordering coffee, equipment and commodities; appropriate storage; and supervising coffee service.

Professional Hospitality Staff may elect to complete the Plan and Monitor Espresso Coffee Service (Unit
Code: SITHFAB016A) unit which is an additional 2 hours and $60.00.
Important: To be considered for an intake, completed applications should be received no later than 30 days prior to the scheduled course commencement date. Applications that are incomplete or incorrect may not be considered. Course offers for applications received by the due date are not guaranteed and intake capacity may vary. EQUALS reserves the right to accept or decline applications at its total discretion.
