Safe Environments for Children and Young People | Through Their Eyes

Safe Environments for Children and Young People is offered as a refresher and full day workshop and is designed for a range of South Australians who are required by law to notify the Department for Child Protection of situations where child abuse and neglect are suspected.

EQUALS Educators are approved facilitators with the Department of Human Services.

Assist Clients with Medication

This short course is designed for support workers (or equivalent) who require the skills and knowledge required to prepare and provide medication assistance and complete medication documentation. This short course also involves supporting a client to self-administer medication. It is best suited to support workers who are employed or who are otherwise able to demonstrate competency in a suitable workplace.

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

Participants will refresh the skills and knowledge required to provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation to adults, children and infants. Graduates of this course will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment in Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Unit Code: HLTAID001 ).

Safe Handling Practices Workshop

This 1 day workshop is designed for new and existing healthcare professionals.

Designed to equip participants with the knowledge and skills required to demonstrate safe handling practices in their work area, this interactive workshop prepares you to confidently use aids and equipment to confidently move, carry and pull both people and things.
