Short Course:
Ayurvedic Cooking

Our popular 1 day cooking workshop teaches you about Ayurvedic nutrition and how tailored food combinations can empower your health and digestion. Ayurveda teaches that “Food is Medicine and Medicine is Food”.

Cooking workshops are presented by Vahid Chittleborough, a barrister by profession but also a passionate and talented home chef. Vahid has demonstrated at cooking classes and informally cooked at some of Adelaide’s leading restaurants.

Ayurveda offers a logical approach to determining the correct diet for individuals, based on the element of your constitution: vata, pitta or kapha. The approach is quite different to the contemporary view of a balanced diet based on food groups. In Ayurveda, we learn that taste is a quality that has a direct effect on the body’s dosha. All food is approached with reverence and respect for universal intelligence and the power of food as medicine.
