Admission Requirements

From submitting your application to accepting an offer and enrolling, you’ll find everything you need to know about admissions here on our website. In the unlikely event that you can’t find what you are looking for, you can reach our Admissions team by emailing us at admissions@equals.edu.au, phone or reach out via our social media sites. There are three main steps in the admissions process.

1 Apply

2 Receive your offer

3 Accept and Enrol

Once you have reviewed the admission requirements (below) and are ready to apply, you will need to complete the International Student Application & Enrolment forms which are available from our apply page.

We work to respond to enquiries within 48 hours (Monday to Friday) however delays may occur in busy periods. If your application is urgent or you have special queries, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We look forward to helping you.

Getting Ready to Apply

Applicants are encouraged to apply early to ensure that they are able to commence at their preferred intake. Further to meeting academic requirements, students should also demonstrate the commitment and attitude appropriate for this demanding industry. It is also preferable that applicants have completed subjects related to their proposed field of study.

Not all countries or qualifications are listed in the table below; students with other qualifications should send their details for assessment. For students applying during their final year of secondary school or college, please attach your most recent results, predicted final results (if available) and your previous year’s academic transcript. EQUALS may offer enrolment conditional upon the successful completion of your studies.

Important Notes for the Applicant:

Applicants must provide certified academic transcripts and supporting documents (where relevant) and these documents must be provided in English. These may be certified by the institution or school that issued the original documents, a Public Notary or other independent source approved by EQUALS International.

EQUALS may request to interview you prior to enrolment at our Institute.

EQUALS reserves the right to assess each application on its merits, and admission is at the absolute discretion of the Institute.

English Requirements

It is important to understand English well enough that you can cope with your study requirements, including lectures, working groups, assessments and industry placement. This is why our courses require a certain level of English proficiency.

If English isn’t your first language, you will need to provide proof of your English proficiency before you can enrol at EQUALS International.

You can do this by demonstrating that you have completed an eligible secondary or tertiary qualifications, by taking an English language skills test, or by completing a relevant English language course at EQUALS or one of our approved English language institutions.

Conditional offers: Students who do not meet EQUALS International’s English requirements upon application may be offered enrolment conditional upon successful completion of an approved English language course.

Please see the table below for the minimum entry levels. Please consult with your Admissions team member for clarification if required.

There may be some exceptions to the course English requirements for some special or licensed occupations.
