It is very important that you carefully read the information in the Student Handbook before applying. You must also read the information below before applying. To avoid delays, please ensure that you have provided all required information with your application. Incomplete applications may not be considered.

You must remember to complete the online application form and submit ALL of the following evidence with your application:
- Proof of Residency/Visa Status (if not born in Australia)
- Copy of Photo ID (drivers license, proof of age card, passport)
- Copy of Birth Certificate, Medicare Card or other secondary evidence of identity
- Health Questionnaire (included in Application form)
- DCSI Check Application or National Police Clearance (for certain programs)
- Participant Agreement Form (compulsory for subsidised course applications)
The application process

STEP 2: Submit Your Application

Please ensure you submit clear, scanned, certified copies of your supporting documents. Illegible or uncertified documents will not be accepted and may cause delays in processing your application.
We will notify you once your application has been processed. To ensure prompt processing, please submit a complete application.
After applying
Once we receive your application, you can expect to be contacted within 48 hours regarding the next steps. Before your meeting, please review the Student Handbook for important information. If you are under 18 years of age, a parent or guardian must attend the meeting with you.
What to Expect at Your Meeting
During the meeting, you may be required to complete a Health & Skills Questionnaire. We will also provide detailed information about:
- The program structure, content, and activities
- Any applicable fees, incidental expenses, or charges
- Key policies and procedures related to your enrolment
- Your suitability and eligibility for the program
Subsidised Training Requirements
If you are applying for a subsidised course, you must complete a supervised Core Skills Profile for Adults (CSPA) assessment. This is a mandatory requirement for accessing publicly funded training places, regardless of your prior education, employment experience, or current employment status. No exceptions apply.
The CSPA is completed using a computer and is made up of three components: Reading, Writing and Numeracy. Visit https://www.acer.org/au/cspa for more information about why this assessment is used.
