Overview

This course equips participants with the confidence, skills and knowledge required to recognise and manage a sick or injured person using key first aid principles.

Participants will learn to provide first aid response, essential life support and to manage the sick or injured person until the arrival of medical assistance. After successfully completing this course graduates will receive a Statement of Attainment in Provide First Aid (Unit Code: HLTAID011 ).

Once accepted into the course, you will receive an email with log-in details to access your online module one week prior to your on-campus day.

You must complete your online learning as per the module instructions, prior to your on-campus practical session. During your on-campus session you will be assessed through practical demonstration, scenario role-plays, verbal assessment and a written quiz.
