The Diploma of Leadership & Management BSB50420 equips graduates with a variety of career opportunities. Increasingly, industry employers are demanding individuals who can manage operations and lead teams within dynamic and challenging environments.
This course is suitable for self-motivated people who hold a genuine interest in working in management and leadership roles and who wish to further develop their leadership skills and knowledge required to provide high quality services in a variety of industry sectors. Industry sectors may include health, community services, banking and finance, education, hospitality, retail and other commercial and community environments.
This is an excellent course that can be used as a pathway into higher education level qualifications at the undergraduate degree level.
Course participants at this level display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements. They plan, design, apply and evaluate solutions to unpredictable problems, and identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources.
Graduates enjoy quality employment outcomes or may build onto their Diploma by continuing onto undergraduate university studies at any number of Australian universities.

In particular, applicants need to be able to read, comprehend, interpret, apply, write and share information to standards that will ensure safe and productive work in leadership and management roles.
